The Client

SoupFest is an annual charity event, created to help raise money for the local homeless issue in Bedfordshire. The one-day event sees the county’s best chefs selling homemade soup and bread, alongside local businesses and volunteers to help raise awareness, as well as much needed funds.

Their Brief

Our client was looking to source a number of promotional products designed to showcase their brand identity and generate a sense of unity between all of the chefs and volunteers.

  • Customised aprons for the chefs and servers
  • Custom table cloths
  • Custom thermal travel mug (as funded by Shawman Solicitors)
The Solution

To ensure that the client was satisfied, we waived our fee for this task. As SoupFest is a charity close to us, we wanted to play our part and help where we could.

We supplied SoupFest with a number of visual mock-ups of products that would fit their criteria. Once the designs were agreed upon, we manufactured the products in-house and were collected by the client.

The Final Product

From initial concept to delivery, we produced and supplied products that fit our clients brief on time.

The products were well received by both the charity and the visitors of the event.

The Client’s Verdict

“Emma and all of us on the SoupFest team would like to pass on our enormous thanks for everything Sycal did for the event, including the aprons, cups and tablecloths.

It was our second year and despite some very tricky weather conditions, there was a fabulous atmosphere.  As it stands today, we are delighted to say we have raised around £5,900 for Bedford’s Homeless which is up on last year.  Again, this day could not have been such a success without your support, so a huge thank you”
