Sycal Team Takes on Snowdon for Marie Curie!

Scaling New Heights for a Great Cause

This Saturday, the Sycal team will embark on a thrilling climb to the peak of Snowdon, as they tackle their very first charity challenge!

Adam, Christa, Sophie, and Paulina are gearing up to conquer the towering Yr Wyddfa summit this Saturday. Standing at an incredible 3,560 feet, every step will be to raise vital funds for the remarkable Marie Curie charity.

Marie Curie, established in 1948, is a remarkable organisation dedicated to providing care and support for individuals facing terminal illnesses throughout the UK. Their exceptional nurses work tirelessly, around the clock, in homes and hospices, delivering specialized care that makes a world of difference.

Whether it’s offering frontline care, sharing practical knowledge, providing emotional support, or funding research in palliative care and end-of-life solutions, Marie Curie is a truly worthy cause that we are thrilled to support.

The daffodil, symbolising hope and renewal, graces the emblem of both Wales and Marie Curie. What better way to pay tribute than by treading the paths of Wales’ mightiest peak, Mount Snowdon?

Supporting a Worthwhile Cause

Now, more than ever, the Marie Curie Nurses and their dedicated frontline staff are indispensable, offering vital care, expertise, and compassion to terminally ill patients and their families, either in hospices or in the comfort of their own homes across the UK.

If you’d like to contribute to our fundraiser, your generous gift will ensure that someone can receive expert care right in the comfort of their home. You can make a donation of any amount through our JustGiving page to support our charity climb.

Your kindness will make a world of difference, providing support to those who need it most during the long nights of grief.

Stay tuned over the next month for updates as our team prepares for their ascent along the Miners’ Path this Saturday!
