In one year alone, around the world, 4 billion trees are cut down for one reason: to make paper. This has a huge negative impact on the environment, but paper doesn’t even necessarily need to be made from trees.
That’s why this November, we want to show you the organic waste notebook. A notebook made from organic and agricultural waste. 30% to 70% of the paper is made purely from repurposed waste. The remaining parts of the notebooks are manufactured from FSC recycled paper to ensure your merchandise is as eco-friendly as possible.
From grass cuttings to onion rings, hazelnuts to tulips: there really isn’t anything in the food industry that these notebooks can’t be made from.

The magic of vegetal material
What was once viewed as waste is now a raw material. Cellulose fibres appear naturally in all plants and, in turn, these fibres are needed to make paper. These notebooks simply replace the wood fibre with vegetal fibre!
Not only do these notebooks reduce the manufacturing of unnecessary paper, but they use 60% less water in production. 100% FSC recycled paper is still an eco-friendly paper choice but organic and agricultural paper uses 20% less CO2 emissions. Even better still, once you’ve filled up your notebook it can simply be recycled again. Who knows what it will turn into next?
Cover to cover, all of the paper in these notebooks are made from repurposed organic materials. Available with three different binding options; perfect bound, saddle-stitched and spiral-bound, with the option to brand the cover how you want.
The colour of the paper you choose all relates to the organic waste added. Sheets made from reused coffee waste give rich dark tones, whereas cherry waste sheets provide a striking red colour. Check out the paper chart on the organic notebook page to see the range of recycled colour/waste options.
